Team TPACK: A model of team work
During CEP 820, 822, and 800, I had to work as member of a four person team on a number of challenging projects that included video editing, website construction, video interviews, internet resource analysis, and wiki pages. This page is dedicated to the group works produced by Team TPACK. This experience was very valuable for developing team work skills that are essential to the work place. Each member had to discover their specialty niche that helped the group produce the best possible work in a time efficient manner. This experience was also very valuable because it refreshed my memory of the challenges that students have while trying to work together which can lend great insight to improve my facilitation of group work exercises.

Observing Physics with TechnologyThis one hour project implemented cameras and video editing software to record the effect gravity had on falling objects. The two tests included dropping a ball while launching another to observe the effect gravity had on each object. The second round of tests included testing the conservation of momentum by dropping a ball while standing still, walking, and running to see whether or not the ball hit the ground where it was dropped or whether or not in maintained it's momentum from the dropping point
Understanding UnderstandingIn this group project Team TPACK challenged a sample of individuals possessing diverse educational background with questions that probed the level of understanding of rainbows. The goal of this project was to observe how people made understanding of a commonly seen occurance based off their previous knowledge and experiences. The group's conclusion is that despite the education background no one truly understood how a rainbow formed. Each person mostly relied upon their own simple observations to explain how the rainbow forms. At the end the team was challenged with compiling a video that illustrated their discovery using Microsoft MovieMaker. This is Team TPACKs final cut!

Team TPACK's website Internet Resource Analysis: Using WikispacesIn this project Team TPACK analyzed internet polling and quiz software that could be used to facilitate learning in the classroom. After each group member analyzed the capabilities of each software along with the strengths and weaknesses the software's possess, the group posted their findings on "wikispaces" a group file and data sharing site.
